Are the Suns the best thing in Arizona sports ever? Okay, the D-Backs winning the World Series was better, and that they won it against the Yankees was the best, but I am all for not living in the past. That said, the Suns are awesome! They have made Arizona sports fun to watch again, and I am not a great fan of basketball. Lute Olsen and his Wildcats are Gems of this state, but the Suns are "outshining" them this year. And Steve Nash is MVP again, so far as I am concerned!
Enough about sports - oh wait, there is this Randy Johnson thing! I welcome Randy back, wholeheartedly, though I still think that if the management got rid of Gonzo because he was an aging player who cost too much, how can they justify getting another aging player who costs even more? Their whole reason for booting Gonzo is moot. Gonzo was, in my opinion, the best D-Back we have ever had, because of his skill AND because of his mentoring of younger players AND because of his superb relationship and philanthropy to the state of Arizona. Randy, I welcome you heartily and hope you find peace as you finish your career here. To Mr. Kendrick and his lot: you have been very unconvincing to me, for one, that you actually care about the D-Backs organization further than your own pockets. If you want to convince me and others I know who feel the same, start meaning what you say, and doing what you say you mean. So far you have done neither.
Okay, now I am done with the sports thing. Really. Which brings me to my next topic: I have nothing else to say today.
